WONCA's Collaborative Fund: Discover our Two Projects

WONCA conducted a successful informational session to showcase the two projects selected for our Collaborative Fund. Participants gained valuable insights into the selected initiatives, fostering a shared understanding of the projects' significance and potential impact.

The purpose of this session was to spotlight initiatives contributing to capacity building, training, and advocacy within the global healthcare community.

• Elevating Primary Care: Digital Health Training for Family Doctors: Picture a world where every Family Doctor is equipped to navigate the digital landscape. This project seeks to elevate global digital health literacy among Family Doctors, paving the way for a more connected and informed future. The initiative is led by WONCA's Working Parties on eHealth, Research and the Special Interest Group on Policy Advocacy.

• The Family Violence Project: In the face of adversity, this initiative stands tall, addressing the surge in Family Violence during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering a comprehensive E-Learning Program, to empower family doctors to respond effectively to Intimate Partner Violence globally. It is led by the Special Interest Group on Family Violence, WONCA Working Party on Women and Family Medicine, and the Young Doctors' Movements.

This informative session not only served as a platform to unveil these projects but also encouraged collaboration and support from the broader healthcare community.
