The WONCA Working Party on Rural Practice and the WONCA Rural Seeds Ambassadors unite in delivering a heartfelt message in memory of Mustapha Aminu Tukur, esteemed WONCA Rural Seeds Ambassador for Africa.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the tragic passing of Mustapha Aminu Tukur, WONCA Rural Seeds Ambassador for Africa.

Mustapha was a compassionate individual who touched the lives of many in the communities and international networks he served.

We have had the privilege of collaborating with Mustapha over the past two years. As a Rural Seeds Ambassador and member of Rural WONCA Council, he was a passionate advocate for rural health who established and coordinated our collaboration with Scholar RX to develop accessible online modules about rural health.

In this moment of grief and loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mustapha Tukur’s family, friends, and colleagues.

May he rest in peace.
