European Journal of General Practice seeks reviewers
As the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of General Practice, I would like to invite you to perform peer-reviews for articles submitted by your colleagues to the Journal.
As a Reviewer you have a very important task, and my Editorial Team and I would like to make an appeal on your expertise. We think a Reviewer should have the following profile: (1) experience in research, (2) experience in writing of research articles, (3) the ability to provide critical but constructive feedback to colleagues, and (4) the ability to express him/ herself in the English language.
Your efforts to improve the quality of the Journal will be very much appreciated by the members of our Editorial Team: Prof Manfred Maier, Austria; Prof Christian Mallen, United Kingdom; Dr An De Sutter, Belgium; Prof Igor Švab, Slovenia; Dr José Valderas, United Kingdom; Prof Henk van Weert, the Netherlands, and Prof Adam Windak, Poland.
At the end of each year, we will reward Reviewers who have submitted (an) outstanding report(s) with a three month period of free on-line access to the European Journal of General Practice, and a complete printed volume (four issues). All Reviewers will be acknowledged in the March issue of the following year, by publishing their names.
You can create your personal account in our manuscript management system: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ejgp. It is essential that you tick the predefined keywords in the system to facilitate the Editors in selecting the right Reviewer for the right article.
Finally, please e-mail your intention to review for the Journal, to Anneke Germeraad-Uriot, Editorial Assistant firstname.lastname@example.org.
I thank you in advance and look forward to our collaboration.
Dr Jelle Stoffers
Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of General Practice
