Dr K Sri Ranjan (Sri Lanka)

Dr K Sri Ranjan is a medical professional from Sri Lanka who has made significant contributions to the fields of Family Medicine and healthcare, both domestically and internationally. With a strong academic background, Dr. Ranjan earned his MBBS degree from the University of Colombo in 1979, providing a solid foundation for his career.

Driven by a commitment to enhance his expertise, he pursued various post-graduate qualifications, including a Post-graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and a Post-graduate Diploma in Child Health from the Post-graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo. Additionally, he holds a Ph.D. in Alternative Medicine and Acupuncture from the Open International University of Sri Lanka.

Dr Ranjan's professional pursuits extend beyond the medical realm. He holds an MBA and is a Certified Management Accountant of Australia. His notable achievements have earned him recognition through several awards, including the esteemed 5 Star Doctor Award and the Eric Gambrill Award presented by the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK.

In a leadership capacity, Dr Ranjan has held significant roles in various medical organizations and institutions, including his position as Chairman and Medical & Clinical Director of Ave Maria Hospital. He has also served as the President of the College of General Practitioners of Sri Lanka, actively contributing to the advancement of family medicine both regionally and globally.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr Ranjan is deeply involved in community service, actively participating in organizations such as the Rotary Club, YMCA, and the Medico-Legal Society of Negombo.
